about

This expansive compilation of Trance To The Sun songs was assembled in 2007 to coincide with Trance To The Sun's appearance at the Convergence XIII Gothic Festival in Portland, OR. Re-released here on Bandcamp in November 2021; all ranges of the eclectic early TTTS catalog are represented.
If you know Trance To The Sun, you have probably heard most of these. If you've been newly drawn here by mysterious forces, this is a great album to help discover why!
As this compilation was assembled in 2007, there's nothing here from "The Blue Obscurities" or "Via Subterranea"... might want to check those out next!
Considering that this CD was assembled to accompany the 13th iteration of the Convergence Gothic Music Festival, held on that occasion in Portland, OR, and the reunion of TTTS that took place there, there are a few noteworthy coincidences to consider: The Willamette River, which divides Portland into halves, is the 13th largest river in the lower 48. There are 13 songs on this disc. The catalog number of this CD is PRO139, as this was Projekt Records' 193rd release... 1+9+3=13. Thirteen bands performed at the festival. The list goes on...
And we're selling these CDs for the generous price of $5.13 +shipping (a veritable steal, considering the 16 page book and all the photos, plus extensive liner notes by longtime TTTS follower Dr. Ravenwell {Paul Angelosanto}, a.k.a. AstroAl!).

Lights out! Enjoy!

about

Trance To The Sun Santa Barbara, California

"If you are already a fan, then you arrive here in anticipation of a succinct visit to this vast purple planet of otherworldly songs. If you are a first time listener, then you are to be envied. You are about to embark on a journey into a bright and blasted landscape of words and sounds that will dwell in your subconscious and dreams for a long time to come."
